Posted by Terry Howard @ 4/28/2007

Looking for detailed information on everything fishing in the Central Florida area? The Central Florida Fishing Report has everything you could ever possibly want and need on all topics related to the florida fishing community. More than just Florida fishing reports though, Central Florida Fishing Report is a full fledged online community resource for Florida fishing, whether it's your hobby or career. What makes this site unique is how CFLFR works. Most of the Florida fishing content on the site is entirely editable by registered site members, and registration is entirely free. Have something to add to an article, or maybe a correction? Just click, write and submit for review. You'll be emailed notification when your change or addition goes live. With the Florida fishing reports themselves you have complete ownership of the reports you post and only you can edit them. The key is that everyone can contribute their experiences and know how to make everyone in the Florida fishing community a better angler.

At the core of Central Florida Fishing Report are the Florida fishing reports themselves. These fishing reports are submitted daily by both professional fishing charter captains and bass guides as well as local anglers just like you. The site covers all of the Central Florida fishing area and is dividing into 3 regions: West Florida fishing reports, Central Florida lake and bass fishing reports, and East Florida fishing reports. These reports cover everything from bass fishing and fishing the coastal flats to offshore fishing. Check out the Florida fishing reports for the area you plan on fishing, use the tips you find to catch big ones, and then post a report of your own!

Are you new to Florida fishing or want to brush up on fishing tackle and techniques? Maybe you'd like to contribute your own experience to help others learn. Central Florida Fishing Report has a section completely devoted to fishing articles that covers a wide range of fishing know-how. Find good information on fishing tackle like fishing rods, fishing reels and fishing lines. There's a fishing knots, bait and riggings section where you can learn how to prepare your terminal tackle for success. Share fishing tips and techniques and learn all the little keys to success that can turn a Florida fishing trip from an exercise in drowning bait into the big haul! There's even a sectional all about boating for both small craft on lakes and flats to larger seaworthy vessels.

Central Florida Fishing Report also has regional fishing information including a directory of Florida bait and tackle shops and the best Florida fishing spots to use your tackle. Find your nearest Florida boat ramps and Florida marinas or plan a Florida fishing vacation with any of the Florida fish camps in the area. Central Florida Fishing Report even has Florida fishing clubs and organizations so you can meet up with like minded anglers offline. Finally, find one of the many world class Florida fish restaurants to sample one of the reasons Florida is the fishing capital of the world. If you own a business that would fit into any of these categories, you can submit your own listing, register with the site and link your personal profile to your business listing. The more you contribute to the site, the higher your rankings go in the listings. Contribute to the Florida fishing community and get exposure for your business, everyone wins!

Fishing charters are very important to Central Florida Fishing Report. Not only do the professional reports by Florida fishing captains give members high quality advice on where to cast their lines, but their tips and knowledge throughout the site help everyone in the Florida fishing community keep their lines tight. Central Florida Fishing Report is proud to feature a directory of Florida fishing charters, bass guides and deep sea and drift boats. Just as with the regional information, fishing captains that contribute to the site with reports and articles gain exposure for their business by increased directory listings, and links to their profile from everything they post.

Want to know how to target the particular Florida fish species? How about what type of fish you'll find in the area you'll be. Florida fishing is part of a fragile ecosystem and for that reason Central Florida Fishing Report maintains information regarding fishing conservation, local Florida fishing regulations and licensing and Florida State fishing laws. And to help with conservation, Central Florida Fishing Report offers anglers a way to display their catch for posterity without having to harm the fish. By posting a picture of your catch to the props board and bragging in the message board you can leave that trophy redfish behind for the next lucky angler.

Want even more Florida fishing entertainment? See a detailed list and schedule of florida fishing shows on both television and radio. Share fishing jokes and fish recipes as well as famous fishing quotes.

Now the you know everything there is to know about Florida fishing, it's time to hit the water. But you are going to need fishing gear and fishing tackle. Daisy Lynum Under Investigation

Posted by Terry Howard @ 4/25/2007

WFTV Channel 9 in Orlando is reporting that Daisy Lynum is under state investigation as a result of her actions involving trying to get her son out of a ticket. Daisy Lynum probably would have been fine if she didn't have to go and open her big mouth and prove to everyone just how big of a racist nepotist she really is. Let's also hope this will branch out into exploring all the cases of where Daisy Lynum has abused her power to benefit herself and exploit the people she claims to represent. The Orlando black community deserves to led by someone who isn't bent on using their hardships to prop herself up and make personal gains.

Colbert Defuses Google Bombing?

Posted by Terry Howard @ 4/19/2007

Google claimed that "Google Bombing" was over, but it appears Colbert has lit the fuse again somehow. Read about the history and downfall of Google Bombing here. Well Colbert set out to Google Bomb himself to the top of the results for "Greatest Living American", which today he accomplished (1 day!), but upon examination he seems to have defied what Google said they did to prevent it as the phrase appears no where on the homepage or letter page people are linking to! More on how Colbert Beat Google and Google Lies.

Funny or Die Blows It

Posted by Terry Howard @ 4/19/2007

Everyone is giving Will Ferrell kudos for embracing viral video with his short The Landlord, but honestly it looks like whoever is behind this from technical/marketing standpoint has missed the boat entirely. When you go to the originating site the video is slow and choppy at times, a poor enough experience that I just left after a short bit. They are well aware of this, the top of the page is emblazoned with the following message: "Way too many people are blowing off work to look at our videos.
If the videos are slow or missing, your boss wants you to go back to work and try later!". You should have put the standard under construction animated gif up there while you were at it.

So no biggie, it's a viral video, I thought. I'll just check it out at one of the dozens of other places it's sure to be hosted. I searched The Google and immediately found a result from the tried and true YouTube. Except I get hit with this message: "This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Funny or Die, Inc."

Funny or Die, Inc, you are morons. It's a viral video, you WANT people to share this, you want it hosted on every social network in the land, embedded on every blog, solen and copied a million times over. What you have done is severely limited your exposure not just now, but down the line, and placed the point of delivery on one obviously overstrained system. Not smart at all.
